Project Update: UNOGAS Assembly Now Underway

We we move further into the start of 2025, the KC8 Capture Technologies team is excited to be sharing the latest update on our UNOGAS project.

Following the successful completion of the detailed design and procurement in late 2024, the next stage of the project has officially commenced with assembly now underway.

Package Assembly and Equipment Delivered to VGas

Nearly all equipment that is required for the project has been delivered to our Fabrication and Manufacturing partner, VGas. The final pieces of equipment continue to arrive at the VGas facility in Houston, Texas in January. The team at VGas has diligently completed the construction of the structures and installed all the necessary equipment, paving the way for the final assembly phase.

The initial focus will be on assembling the two process skids. These compact and integrated units will house critical components of the CO2 capture system, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.

In the coming week, we will initiate the assembly of the vessels. These crucial components will then be installed in the second two modules within the adjacent workshop in the weeks to follow.

Marks a Significant Milestone for UNOGAS and KC8

This marks a significant milestone for the UNOGAS project and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as our valued partners at VGas.

We believe the cutting-edge UNO-MK3 technology will play a vital role in reducing global carbon emissions.

We are confident that this project will not only demonstrate the effectiveness of our innovative CO2 capture technology but also contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.

Stay tuned for further updates as the UNOGAS project progresses. We are excited to share our journey with you and continue to push the boundaries of carbon capture technology.
