UNOGAS Project Update: Fabrication Milestone Achieved

This week, KC8 Capture Technologies is excited to share the next update on the progress of our UNOGAS project.

Following the successful design and early fabrication stages highlighted in our earlier project updates, we’ve now reached a significant milestone at the VGas fabrication facility in Houston. We want to extend our sincere thanks to the entire VGas team for their continued strong support and dedication.

The first of our two critical process modules is now entering the final stages of fabrication, with the electrical scope currently underway. As you can see in the images below, the two packages have been successfully brought together. The focus now shifts to completing the interconnecting pipework and electrical connections, bringing these modules to life.

The two tower sections, crucial components of the system, are progressing well. We anticipate mechanical completion of these towers within the coming weeks.

Looking ahead, once all modules have been fully assembled, they will be moved to the hardstand area in late March. This move will allow for final fit-up and comprehensive pre-delivery checks, ensuring the system meets our stringent quality standards before shipment.

We’re incredibly proud of the progress made and are eager to see the UNOGAS project move into its next phase.
