Over recent weeks, our UNOGAS project has reached several key milestones that we are excited to provide an update on. In late April, the assembly of UNOGAS was completed at the VGas Facility in Houston.
After assembly was completed, the modules were moved into the hardstand area of the facility to allow for final fit-up and comprehensive pre-delivery checks. This allowed the KC8 team to ensure the system meets our stringent quality standards before commencement of shipment to the National Carbon Capture Centre (NCCC) in Alabama.
Once the technology arrived at the NCCC, the major installation was completed over a period of a few days.
Next steps for UNOGAS
Now that the skids are in place and bolted down the interconnecting piping and electrical connections are being re-instated, and the hook up piping and power cables are being installed to connect the package to the NCCC facility. This work will be completed this month ready for commissioning in July.
