Earlier this month, KC8 Capture Technologies was pleased to have our Executive Director, Barry Hooper, represent us at the 17th Greenhouse Gas Control Technology Conference (GHGT-17) in Alberta, Canada, from October 20th to 24th, 2024. This international conference brought together leading experts in greenhouse gas reduction technologies, with a specific focus on carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS)
During the conference, Barry presented a captivating poster showcasing KC8’s innovative technology, UNO-MK3 and its potential to revolutionise the carbon capture industry. The poster generated significant interest and sparked insightful discussions with fellow attendees.
Beyond the technical presentations, Barry had the opportunity to network with industry peers, explore cutting-edge research, and gain valuable insights into the latest advancements in CCUS. The conference dinner, themed “Western Canada,” provided a delightful cultural experience and further strengthened connections within the delegates.
KC8’s participation in GHGT-17 reinforces our commitment to driving sustainable solutions and contributing to a low-carbon future. We look forward to continuing our work with the global CCUS community and building on the momentum generated from this event.
During the conference, it was also announced that the next GHGT-18 Conference will be back on KC8 home soil in Perth, Western Australia! We look forward to attending in 2026.
